SEC joins hands with UNDP to launch SDG Investor Map towards sustainable development goals in Thailand (Bangkok Biz News, 6 July 2022 )

โครงการพั พัฒนาแห่ ห่งสหประชาชาติ ติประจำ จำ ประเทศไทยร่ ร่วมกั กับสำ สำ นั นักงานคณะกรรมการกำ กำ กั กับหลั ลักทรั รัพย์ ย์และตลาดหลั ลักทรั รัพย์ ย์ (ก.ล.ต.) เปิ ปิดตั ตัวแผนที่ ที่การลงทุ นเพื่ พื่อการพั พัฒนาที่ ที่ยั่ ยั่งยื ยืน (SDG InvestorMap) ซึ่ ซึ่งเป็ ป็นแพลตฟอร์ ร์มข้ ข้อมู มูลที่ ที่เปิ ปิดโอกาสให้ ห้ผู้ ผู้ลงทุ น และภาคธุ ธุรกิ กิจที่ ที่ให้ ห้ความสำ สำ คั คัญตต่อการลงทุ ทุนเพื่ พื่อบรรลุ ลุเป้ ป้าหมายการพั พัฒนาที่ ที่ยั่ ยั่งยื ยืนได้ ด้พบกั กับโครงการธุ ธุรกิ กิจที่ ที่ได้ ด้รั รับการจั จัดอั อันดั ดับแล้ ล้วว่ ว่าตอบโจทย์ ย์ นโยบายของภาครั รัฐ และมี มีโอกาสการเติ ติบโตทางการตลาดภายใต้ ต้การดำ ดำ เนิ นินการตามแนวคิ คิดของUNDP SDG Impact และการสนั นับสนุ นุนจาก CIIP (องค์ ค์กรภายใต้ ต้ บริ ริษั ษัท Temasek Trust) ในฐานะพั พันธมิ มิตร โดยได้ ด้ผ่ ผ่านการรั รับฟั ฟังความคิ คิดเห็ ห็นในการประชุ ชุมระดั ดับสู สูงที่ ที่ จั จัดโดยผู้ ผู้กำ กำ หนดนโยบายและกลุ่ ลุ่มนั นักลงทุ น
ประเทศไทยตั้ ตั้งเป้ ป้าหมายที่ ที่จะสร้ ร้างอนาคตที่ ที่ดี ดีขึ้ ขึ้น ภายหลั ลังการเผชิ ชิญกั กับสถานการณ์ ณ์โรคระบาดระดั ดับโลก ปั ปัญหาการขาดแคลนอาหาร และวั วัตถุ ถุดิ ดิบจากผลกระทบของสงครามยู ยูเครน และวิ วิกฤติ ติสภาพภู ภูมิ มิ อากาศอย่ ย่างต่ ต่อเนื่ นื่อง ทั้ ทั้งนี้ นี้ จากข้ ข้อมู มูลของคณะกรรมาธิ ธิการเศรษฐกิ กิจ และสั สังคมสำ สำ หรั รับเอเชี ชียและแปซิ ซิฟิ ฟิก (UNESCAP) ในปี ปี 2562 ได้ ด้คาดการณ์ ณ์เงิ งินลงทุ นเพื่ พื่อการบรรลุ ลุเป้ ป้าหมายการพั พัฒนาที่ ที่ยั่ ยั่งยื ยืนไว้ ว้ว่ ว่าตั้ ตั้งแต่ ต่ ปี ปี 2563 ถึ ถึง ปี ปี 2573 ว่ ว่าประเทศไทยต้ ต้องการเงิ งินลงทุ ทุนเพิ่ พิ่มเติ ติมประมาณ 1.27 ล้ ล้านล้ ล้านบาท(40.9 พั พันล้ ล้านดอลลาร์ ร์สหรั รัฐ) ต่ ต่อปี ปี หรื รือคิ คิดเป็ ป็นมู มูลค่ ค่า 50 บาทต่ ต่อคนต่ ต่อวั วัน ด้ ด้วยเหตุ ตุนี้ นี้ แผนพั พัฒนาเศรษฐกิ กิจและสั สังคมแห่ ห่งชาติ ติฉบั บับที่ ที่ 13 ของประเทศไทยประจำ จำ ปี ปี พ.ศ.2566 - 2570 จึ จึงได้ ด้ให้ ห้ความสำ สำ คั คัญต่ ต่อการสร้ ร้างเศรษฐกิ กิจที่ ที่มี มีมู มูลค่ ค่าสู สูง และเป็ ป็นมิ มิตรกั กับสิ่ สิ่งแวดล้ ล้อม สั สังคมแห่ ห่งโอกาส และความเท่ ท่าเที ทียมกั กัน วิ วิถี ถีชี ชีวิ วิตที่ ที่ยั่ ยั่งยื ยืน และการเสริ ริมสร้ ร้างปั ปัจจั จัยที่ ที่เอื้ อื้อต่ ต่อการเปลี่ ลี่ยนแปลง
The United Nations Development Programme in Thailand, in collaboration with the Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC), has launched the SDG Investor Map , an information platform open to investors and sectors. With the maps, businesses that prioritise investing in meeting the Sustainable Development Goals are able to find business projects that are rated to meet government policies and offer market growth opportunities. Under the implementation of the concept of UNDP SDG Impact and supported by CIIP (an organisation under Temasek Trust) as a partner. The map was presented at a high-level meeting organised by policy makers and investors.
Thailand aims to create a better future in a post-pandemic world that has been exacerbated by shortage of food and raw materials from the effects of the Ukrainian war. Before the pandemic, the Economic and Social Commission for Asia and the Pacific, UNESCAP (2019) estimated that to meet the SDGs, Thailand would require around THB 1.27 trillion (US$ 40.9 billion) in additional annual investment from 2020 to 2030, equivalent to 50 baht per person per day. To this end, Thailand’s upcoming 13th National Economic and Social Development Plan for 2023-2027 prioritizes achieving high-value, eco-friendly economy, society of opportunities and equality, sustainable way of life, and strengthening enabling factors for transformation.
In this context, the Thailand SDG Investor Map report presents 15 investment opportunities under 8 industry sectors with operations that promote sustainable development goals and are aligned with Thailand's National Economic and Social Development Plan. The sectors are: Food & Beverages, Renewable Resources & Alternative Energy, Health Services, Transportation, Financials, Infrastructure, Services and Education. Over 80% of these investment opportunities address productivity issues and over half leverage technology to bridge the digital divide. Almost all the opportunities focus on benefiting vulnerable communities.
