CIIP participated in Impact Forward: Collaborating for Sustainable Transition in Asia, hosted by Schneider Electric, European Chamber of Commerce, Singapore, and AVPN. CIIP’s Sue-Ann Huang moderated the panel Mobilising Corporate Capital for Good in Asia. The panel explored how companies across the region are using impact investing, sustainable finance, and corporate venture capital to drive inclusive innovation.
Speakers from Boston Consulting Group (BCG), Schneider Electric, AirTrunk and AVPN shared real-world examples of how strategic capital deployment is enabling scalable solutions in areas such as energy access, digital inclusion, and entrepreneurship.
The discussion highlighted the importance of deploying capital across the full spectrum, from philanthropic to commercial, to support innovation for underserved communities. Panellists also emphasised adapting global sustainability goals to local contexts, improving data centre efficiency amid growing AI and cloud demand, and collaborating early to bridge corporates, investors, and ecosystem builders.
In closing, Sue-Ann also noted that aligning capital with inclusive innovation strengthens resilience, competitiveness, and shared value across Asia’s communities.
