CIIP was glad to participate in DBS Private Bank's recent Future Leaders Programme on 7 June. The Programme focuses on the importance of dialogue between the generations and the critical role that the next generation plays in preserving the family legacy. The three-day event discussed themes surrounding sustainability, impact investing, business leadership and family governance.

CIIP’s Director Chii Fen Hiu conducted a training session providing an overview of the spectrum of capital and where impact investing sits in relation to philanthropy and traditional investing, the universe of impact frameworks and how they help ensure impact accountability for investors and companies, as well as avenues by which clients could drive impact. To illustrate this, CIIP’s Manager Jonathan Chan led clients through a case study of a large family-owned corporate and encouraged them to consider formulating a business strategy with business and sustainability considerations.
