CIIP was pleased to collaborate with United Nations ESCAP to organise the panel ‘Mobilising Capital for Impact: Impact Investing in ASEAN’ at the ASEAN Investment Forum 2024. The forum is jointly organized annually by the ESCAP, The ASEAN Secretariat and its Coordinating Committee on Investment, the ASEAN-BAC and the Government of the Lao PDR. 

This year’s Forum saw the launch of the ASEAN Regional Investment Action Plan 2025-2030. The Forum is held as part of the ASEAN Business and Investment Summit, which is concurrent with the 44th and 45th ASEAN Summits and Related Summits series in Vientiane. 

CIIP’s Director Lin-Net Koh spoke alongside Fajar Usman, Director for Regional and Multilateral Cooperation at the Ministry of Investment and Downstream Industry / Indonesia Investment Coordinating Board (BKPM), Kunihiko Chris Hirabayashi, Secretary General of the ASEAN-Japan Centre, Yohanes L., Alternate Chair of the ASEAN Business Advisory Council, and National Executive Level Committee Member at Kamar Dagang dan Industri (Kadin) Indonesia / Indonesian Chamber of Commerce and Industry (KADIN), and Sumira Jayabalan, Venture Builder at Wavemaker Impact. The session was moderated by Jonathan Wong, Chief of Innovation, Enterprise and Investment, ESCAP.
