CIIP participated in ReThink HK, Hong Kong’s flagship sustainable business event. On 11 September 2025, CIIP’s Akhil Khurana spoke on the panel Impact Investing To Create Shared Value, alongside Ariel Shtarkman (Undivided Ventures), Cintia Nunes (The Mills Fabrica), and Yijing Wang (2060 Advisory), moderated by Ruth Shapiro (Centre for Asian Philanthropy Society).
The discussion covered differing approaches to impact investing, with Akhil sharing CIIP’s perspective grounded in intentionality, additionality, and scale. He highlighted gaps in Southeast Asia, particularly in climate adaptation and resilience, despite the global impact investing market reaching US$1.57 trillion in 2024.
Akhil also emphasised the need for whole-of-ecosystem approach, a principle central to the Amplifier Programme, developed by CIIP and Philanthropy Asia Alliance (PAA). Fellow panelist Cintia Nunes supported Amplifier 2025’s Innovation and Circularity in the Textile Value Chain track.
