At this year's Philanthropy Asia Summit, the Innovation Spotlight brought together innovators, investors, philanthropies, and ecosystem partners to explore how scalable solutions can address Asia’s urgent climate and social challenges.
Co-organised by CIIP, Co-Axis, and Philanthropy Asia Alliance, the Spotlight showcased a diverse group of impact enterprises working across climate resilience, sustainable agriculture, healthcare, circular economy, and inclusive development. Beyond founder showcases, the session created space for meaningful conversations around scaling innovation, strengthening partnerships, and mobilising catalytic support for impact-driven ventures across the region.
The Spotlight was emceed by Zal Dastur, with opening remarks by Desmond Kuek, CEO of Temasek Trust. Attendees also heard perspectives from Anna Koivuniemi (Google DeepMind), Sarah Cragg (The Earthshot Prize), Sean O'Sullivan (SOSV), Dr Xiao Liming (Tencent), Satoshi Ishii (Asian Development Bank (ADB)), and Arif Satria (Badan Riset dan Inovasi Nasional RI (BRIN RI)), who shared insights on innovation, sustainability, and scaling impact across Asia.

Ltd, InvestED, and Boost Capital.
Amongst these were also our 10 Amplifier programme mentees from across our three ongoing tracks in the 2025-26 cohort. We are grateful for our ongoing partnership with Mastercard Center for Inclusive Growth, Macquarie Group Foundation, and SHEIN. We also announced our partnership with the Asian Development Bank (ADB) for our 2026-27 cohort focusing on climate resiliency in water.
