Gingko Fellows Engagement
Back
CIIP and Co-Axis were pleased to welcome 23 Ginkgo Fellows to Temasek Shophouse, as part of a study trip to Singapore supported by the partnership of the Li Foundation. The Ginkgo Fellowship is a long-term initiative that invests in young social entrepreneurs by providing funding, mentorship, and networking to drive social change. The visiting fellows are based across China and are working in areas such as innovative education, mental health, palliative care for children, and sustainable fisheries.

As part of a series of introductions to the Temasek Trust Collective, CIIP's Jonathan Chan provided an overview of the Amplifier programme, which supports impact startups with recoverable grants, mentorship, and access to networks, as well as the work of Co-Axis. This was followed by a spirited exchange alongside CIIP's Akhil Khurana and Co-Axis' Erin Gunanto with the Ginkgo Fellows present, concerning innovative financing, regulatory support for social and impact enterprises, and partnerships with entities from China.

We look forward to deepening our partnerships with enterprises and entities actively contributing to positive social and environmental change in China and beyond.
