In January 2026, CIIP co-hosted a workshop in Ho Chi Minh City on supply chain sustainability in textiles and tourism with the Singapore Fashion Council, at the Vietnam SME/Startup ESG Investor Conference by Raise Partners.
The workshop brought together Vietnamese and regional companies, sustainability practitioners, and partners to share practical perspectives on strengthening sustainability practices across supply chains.
Drawing from our regional research on supply chain sustainability and SME empowerment, CIIP's Akhil Khurana discussed how buyer expectations are evolving, SMEs capability gaps, and how companies can build resilience, strengthen supplier relationships, and position themselves more competitively in regional and global markets.
CIIP's Nicole Lim joined leading Vietnamese brands Le Quyen Vuu (CEO of Biti's) and Duc Bui (GM of Amanaki Hotel) for a fireside chat on how sustainability is most effective when grounded in a business’ heritage, culture, and values—and when leaders are intentional about what matters most to their stakeholders.
We heard from mentees of the CIIP x Philanthropy Asia Alliance Amplifier programme (Amber J. from Baytech - HMS (HandMadeStone), Didi Gan from N&E Innovations Pte Ltd) who shared innovative solutions they are implementing across the textiles and tourism value chains.
SFC showcased its work advancing sustainability in the fashion and textiles ecosystem with regional partners through the Textiles Circularity Consortium. Through a Solutions Exchange, participants shared challenges, needs, and potential solutions, fostering meaningful connections and collaboration. On the sidelines, we also met with partners to exchange perspectives on how impact investing and sustainability are evolving in the region. We look forward to future collaborations!
